Retailplanners - Objective and Services
Retailplanners’ objective is to assist its clients to achieve improved levels of sales, gross profit and return on investment by providing consulting services that focus on developing efficient and effective store designs, layouts, merchandising and range construction. Our retail experience will be applied to retail and trade businesses that operate in corporate, franchised or banner groups or operate independently.
Retailplanners will do this by providing cost-effective, outsourced services to our clients by continually improving our productivity, processes and systems while operating in a low overhead environment.
The Retailplanners team will always deliver high levels of professionalism in all aspects of our projects and we take pride in the expertise and dedication of every one of our team members. Where appropriate we will supplement our team with external contractors but they will always work under the supervision of a senior consultant.
We will continually research and monitor retail trends that help us to keep abreast of the market while taking care to ensure that new initiatives are carefully considered and tested before rollout.
We will achieve our objective by:
Listening carefully to our client’s brief and project objectives so that we can provide relevant and constructive input.
Providing site surveys to confirm existing building layouts and structure and to gain a clear understanding of all operational aspects of our client’s business.
Developing plans for fixture layout, merchandise placement, data, power and other services consistent with client guidelines or best practice.
Developing or refreshing brand identity and graphic communications as required or applying existing brand and graphic guidelines to our client’s sites.
Researching and maintaining finishes schedules and specifications where required.
Recommending fixture solutions and designs were appropriate and providing fixture quantification if required.
Liaising with client’s fixture, signage and other suppliers or recommending suitable suppliers if requested.
Generating planograms and related reports and analysis to enable effective merchandising and range reconciliation to store space where required.
Developing training packages tailored to our client’s business for use in training store and field teams in merchandising. This training may be delivered by our trainers or we will train members of the client’s team as session leaders.
